Refrigerator Rolls

Ingredients
2¼-ounce packages dry yeast 2 cups water ½ cup sugar 2 teaspoons salt 6½ cups flour, divided 1 egg ½ cup solid shortening
Cooking Method
Dissolve yeast in water
Add sugar, salt and ½ cup flour to yeast.
Beat 2 minutes.
Add egg and shortening.
Gradually add remaining flour until smooth.
Cover with a damp cloth and refrigerate 3 hours to overnight.
Pat down occasionally.
Take out 2 hours before baking
Make into desired shape.
Place in greased pan and let rise for 1½ hours.
Bake at 400° until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes.
